The development of a learning kit on the local cultural environment in Petchaburi province

Abstract: This study aimed to construct and develop a learning kit on the local cultural environment in Petchaburi Province for the secondary school students in order to measure the learning achievement of the students and to evaluate the level of satisfaction of students. The sample for the study comprised of 60 students randomly selected from Ban Lad Wittaya school in Petchaburi Province. The sample was divided equally to form the experimental and the control groups and the learning kit was then implemented on three different occasions. The Pretest-Posttest control group design was used as research design to evaluate knowledge gained by the experimental group when compared to the control group who did not learn with learning kit. The data were tested with t-test. The results showed that the posttest scores of 30 students in the experimental group who used the learning kit were statistically significantly higher than their pretest scores at 0.05 level, and higher than the posttest scores of the 30 students in the control group who did not use the learning kit at 0.05 level. From the result of this study it might be concluded that the learning kit was effective in giving knowledge about the local cultural environment in Petchaburi Province. The recommendation of the study is that, more research on the construction and development of similar learning kit on other topics should be undertaken in order to support an effective teaching-learning process.

Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างและพัฒนาชุดการเรียนรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมศิลปกรรมท้องถิ่น จังหวัดเพชรบุรี สำหรับนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษา โดยผู้วิจัยศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อนำความรู้ที่ได้ไปสร้างชุดการเรียนรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมศิลปกรรมท้องถิ่น จังหวัดเพชรบุรี แล้วนำเสนอผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิพิจารณา และแก้ไขปรับปรุงตามคำแนะนำ จากนั้นจึงพัฒนาชุดการเรียนรู้โดยทดลองใช้กับนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนบ้านลาดวิทยา จังหวัดเพชรบุรี ที่ไม่ใช่กลุ่มตัวอย่าง รวม 3 ครั้ง ซึ่งผู้วิจัยนำผลจากการทดลองแต่ละครั้งมาใช้ปรับปรุงชุดการเรียนรู้ แล้วนำเสนอคณะกรรมการควบคุมวิทยานิพนธ์และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิอีกครั้ง ก่อนนำไปทดลองใช้กับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ซึ่งได้แก่ นักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนบ้านลาดวิทยา จังหวัดเพชรบุรี จำนวน 60 คน โดยแบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ กลุ่มควบคุมและกลุ่มทดลอง กลุ่มละ 30 คน ผู้วิจัยวัดผลก่อนและหลังการทดลองแล้วนำคะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนรู้มาวิเคราะห์โดยใช้ค่า t-test ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนกลุ่มที่ใช้ชุดการเรียนรู้มีผลสัมฟทธิ์ทางการเรียนเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมที่ไม่ได้ใช้ชุดการเรียนรู้ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 สรุปได้ว่า ชุดการเรียนรู้ที่สร้างขึ้นสามารถช่วยเพิ่มพูนความรู้ความเข้าใจเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อมศิลปกรรมท้องถิ่น จังหวัดเพชรบุรี ให้แก่นักเรียนได้และนักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อชุดการเรียนรู้ในระดับดี และดีมาก ขัอเสนอแนะ ควรทำการวิจัยเพื่อสร้างและพัฒนาชุดการเรียนรู้ในเนื้อหาอื่น ๆ ต่อไป เพื่อจะได้พัฒนากระบวนการเรียนการสอนให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น
