Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop an e-commerce computer software prototype for the online B2C bookstore. It is a web-based application for the front office of the Sales Department of Asia Books Co., Ltd. which focuses on the security system of doing business in terms of ordering and purchasing on the Internet. Also, it helps to reduce imported e-commerce computer software which may not work well in the Thai environment. The web application prototype was developed by using Active Server Pages (ASP), Internet Information Server(IIS) and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Secure Socket Layer(SSL) were applied for secure transmission of confidential information across the Internet. This Online B2C Bookstore e-commerce system had 2 major categories: book and e-book ordering. The result of the study was a prototype which focuses on the security system of business in terms of ordering and purchasing on the Internet. It can be applied to the Business to Customer (B2C) business model. The Thai language was used in this system, which works well in the Thai environment and helps to reduce imported computer software. After testing and evaluation of the system, this application was found to work properly and support the user requirements. To use the whole system and increase the usefulness of this system, the back office system should be developed. For more effective processing, this system should be able to connect with other systems used in Asia Books.

Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาระบบพาณิชย์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์สำหรับร้านหนังสือ (Online B2C Bookstore e-commerce System)ในลักษณะ web application โดยมุ่งเน้น แก้ปัญหาพื้นฐานของระบบพาณิชย์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในด้านการรักษาความปลอดภัยของข้อมูลที่ ส่งผ่านระบบเครือข่ายและลดการนำเข้าซอฟต์แวร์จากต่างประเทศที่ระบบอาจทำงานได้ไม่ดี ภายใต้สิ่งแวดล้อมระบบที่แตกต่างกันในประเทศไทย การพัฒนาระบบงานนี้ใช้ Microsoft SQL Server เป็นตัวจัดการด้านฐานข้อมูล, Internet Information Server (IIS) เป็น Web Server, เชื่อมต่อกับผู้ใช้โดยผ่าน Web Browser และได้นำโครงสร้างพื้นฐานกุญแจสาธารณะมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการรักษาความปลอดภัย ของข้อมูลบนเครือข่าย ระบบนี้ประกอบด้วย 2 ส่วนหลักๆ คือ การซื้อขายหนังสือที่เป็นตัวเล่ม (Book) และการซื้อขายหนังสือประเภทอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (e-Book) ผลการศึกษาได้โปรแกรมต้นแบบที่เน้นในด้านการรักษาความปลอดภัยของข้อมูลในการ ทำธุรกรรมผ่านอินเตอร์เน็ต ซึ่งสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการทำธุรกิจในรูปแบบของธุรกิจกับ ลูกค้า (Business to Customer) นอกจากนั้นภาษาที่ใช้ในโปรแกรมส่วนมากเป็นภาษาไทยซึ่ง ทำงานได้ดีภายใต้สิ่งแวดล้อมของระบบในประเทศไทย ยังผลให้ช่วยลดการนำเข้าซอฟต์แวร์จาก ต่างประเทศได้ หลังการทดสอบระบบและประเมินผล พบว่าสามารถทำงานได้อย่างถูกต้องและมีประสิทธิ - ภาพ ตรงตามความต้องการของผู้ใช้ ระบบนี้เป็นระบบงาน front office เพื่อให้ระบบมีความ สมบูรณ์และเกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดควรมีการพัฒนาระบบงาน back office เพิ่มเติมและสามารถ เชื่อมต่อกับระบบงานอื่นๆในบริษัท
