The study was done by selecting a sample of 30 students at Anubal Siriwan School, Nakorn Phathom province. The developed computer - assisted instruction course was divided into 5 sections as follows the first section was on the importance of food, the second was on what is non-toxic food, the third was on how much the samples knew about contamination in food, the fourth was on food selection, and the last section was on how to buy non-toxic food. In each section, the content was arranged concurrently with the exercises in each section and answers were provided so that the student would be able to monitor the progress of learning as needed. Research results showed that the developed computer assigned instruction on How to eat safely and avoid toxicity had an effectiveness of 83.50/86.17 which was higher than the standard measure of 80/80. Moreover, it indicated that the sample students had increased their knowledge after learning with computer assigned instruction with a statistically significant value of 0.05. As for satisfaction, most students were highly satisfied with the developed computerized exercises which also received a good quality evaluation from several experts. Judging from this research, the conclusion was made that the developed computer assisted instruction course for Prathomsuksa 6 students is effective in creating greater knowledge and understanding and in raising students awareness of how to eat safely without encountering problems of toxicity in food.
