Abstract:
The objectives of this research are to study (1) characteristics of mobile users about AUDIOTEX services and (2) correlation among motivation of AUDIOTEX services, Used and Gratification of AUDIOTEX DTAC Mobile Phone by survey research.
Sampling groups consist of 397 people who live in Bangkok areas. Data collection was done through stratified sampling. The instrument used in data collection is questionnaire. Statistics used for analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearsons correlation, t-test and F-test.
The results are as follows:
1. More females than males used AUDIOTEX DTAC Mobile Phone. There were two rates of age: 18-25 and 26-45. They completed bachelors degree and worked as company employees.
2. The motivation of AUDIOTEX DTAC Mobile Phone users about technology trend was in the middle level. While pleasantness and eagerness to know what is going on are subordinate.
3. The usefulness of AUDIOTEX DTAC Mobile Phone such as knowing all the events, adapting data for conversing, and calling for pleasantness are in the middle level.
4. The AUDIOTEX DTAC Mobile Phone users three area enjoyment: action, psychology, and society/culture is in the middle level. Alertness about communicative technology and applying information for conversing with others are subordinate.
5. The motivation of AUDIOTEX DTAC Mobile Phone users correlates the usage and pleasantness of AUDIOTEX service is statistically significant at a level of 0.05.
