Abstract:
The objective of this research was to study and compare the level of employees´ self
development at Sub-District Administration Organizations in Saraburi Province, towards being
Learning Organizations. Three hundred thirty two employees were randomly sampled through
simple sampling method. The questionnaires consisted of two parts : personal data and how to
be a learning organization. Statistics used for data analysis consisted of percentages, mean and
standard deviation. Hypotheses were tested by t-test, F-test and Scheffé ´s test at the .05 level of
significance.
The results of this research found that the sample groups were mainly female, aged
between 31-40 years old, had bachelor degrees, had less than 5 years of working experience and
were sub-district employees level 1-3. Overall and in every aspect, employees´ development at
Sub-District Administration Organizations in Saraburi Province towards being a Learning
Organization was nearly at a high level. Employees with different ages, education levels,
working experience and job positions were significantly different at .05 in their development
towards being learning organization.
