Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study on Passenger Satisfaction of Eastern Route of the State Railway of Thailand. The sample group using in this report was 385 passengers using eastern line train services (Bangkok Arunyaprates) Arunyaprates Train Station. The research instrument for data collecting was a scale questionnaire at the 0.865 level of significance. The statistical analysis was done by percentage, ( ) means, and standard deviation (S.D.).
The results of the study were as follows:
1. Generally, level of satisfaction in passengers pick up - drop off services for eastern line of State Railway of Thailand was middle. The sample groups satisfied level was high in the aspects of convenient services location approach and suitable ticket price with passengers ability to pay. Moreover, in the ways of existing adequate services, conveniences and facilities, and service quality acceptation were in middle level of satisfaction.
2. According to the satisfaction level in passengers pick up - drop off services for eastern line of State Railway of Thailand classified by sex was in the middle and no differences when considering in each aspect.
The convenient service location approach and suitable ticket price with passengers ability to pay aspects were in high level of satisfaction for both male and female.
The satisfied level of the aspects of existing adequate services, conveniences and facilities, and service quality acceptation were middle for both male and female.
