The sample was 200 coronary artery heart disease patients who follwed up at the outpatient department of Sawanpracharak Hospital, Nakhon Sawan and at the heart clinic of Putthachinnaraj Hospital, Phitsanulok. Data were collected by self-reported questionnaires from February through March 2007. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and Stepwise Multple Regression. The results revealed that: 1. Singnificant Factors related to eating behavior included income (r = .158, p < .05), perceived self-efficacy (r = .343, p < .01), perceived benefit (r = .221, p < .01), family support (r = .255, p < .01), and health care provider support (r = .197, p < .01). It was also found that perceived barrier had a negtivfe significant relationship with eating behavior (r = -.290, p < .01). 2. Determinants of eating behaviors included perceived self-efficacy (B = 0.24, p < .001), perceived barrier (B = -170, p < .01), and family support (B = 0.15, p < .05). Total variance accounted for the eating behaviors was 16.9 percent Receommendations include promoting eating behaviors of coronary artery heart disease patients by encouraging them to increase those significant varibles and create nursing intervention based on predicting variables.
