Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to determine the needs for supervision of the primary school teachers under the Office of Prachinburi Privincial Primary Education and to compare the needs for supervision considering five variables--teachers' qualification, teaching load, grade level, teaching experience, and size of the schools.The sample were 00 teachers under the Office of Prachinburi Provincial Primary Education. The 72 items questionnaire describing the needs for supervision in four areas--curriculum, teaching-learning activities, educational media, and evaluation--were use to collect data. The arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, the t-test, the F-test were employed in the analysis of data.The results were as follows:1. Teachers indicated the needs for supervision in all areas at a moderate level.2. There were no significant difference in all areas of the needs for supervision indicated by teachers with different qualifications. 3. There were no significant difference in all areas of the needs for supervision indicated by teachers who had different teaching load.4. The were no significant difference in all areas of the needs for supervision indicated by teachers who taught in different grade levels.5. There were no significant difference in all areas of the needs for supervision indicated by teachers who had different teaching experiences.6. There were no significant difference in all areas of the needs for supervision indicated by teachers from different sizes of schools.
