Abstract:
The purposes of this study was to compare the result of Mattayomsuksa 2 students' reading comprehension achievement scores of two kinds of spacing at the end of a sentence : six alphabets spacing and normal spacing. The sample, randomly selected from Thai Language class (T.102), consisted of 60 students of Mattayomsuksa 2, Banaung Utsahakamnukoh School, Cholburi. The sample was divided into two group, being randomed according to achievement scores of which the mean and standard deviation of both groups were equal. Mean and t-test were employed in the data analysis.The findings of this study were that the effects of six alphabets spacing and normal spacing of students; reading comprehension achievment scores both in articles and in comedy context were insignificantly different at .05 level and reject the research hypothesis.
