A Comparison of learning achievement of prathom suksa IV students in life experiences on "Living things" as taught by learning package and the conventional method
Abstract:
The purpose of the study were to construct a learning package with 80/80 efficiency and to compare learning achievement of Prathom Suksa IV students in Life Experiences on "Living Things" as taught by using the learning package and by the conventional method.The sample of the study consisted of 50 Prothom Suksa IV students of Ban Nongkern School at Thumbon Nongchag, Banbung District, Chon Buri Province. This study was conducted during the third semester of academic year of 1990. The experimental and control groups were assigned tweny-five students each. Ther experimental group was taught by using the learning package and the control group was taught by the conventional method. The randomized control group pretest-posttest design was setected for the study, the t-test was employed in analyzing the data and the following results were revealed :1. The learning package on "Living Things" about plants and animals yielded the result of 93.60/93.60 efficiency which was higher than the set standard.2. The learning achievement in Life Experiences of the experimental group was significaltly superior to that of the control group at the .01 level.3. The learning achievement in Life Experiences on "Living Things" as classified according to each aspect, revealed that the experimental group did significantly better than the control group the aspect of knowledge and memory at the .01 level, in the aspcet of understaning and the skills in scientific procedure at .05 level but there was no statistica significance in the aspect of application.
