Abstract:
This research was conducted with the objectives to study the levels of satisfaction of patients using state and private hospital services under the social security to study the knowledge and understanding of patients using state and private hospital services under the social security to compare the levels of satisfaction of patients under the social security classified by marital status and age and to compare the levels of satisfaction of medical patients using state and private hospital services under the social security. The data was collected by mean of questionnaire with reliability at 0.872. The samplings were 360 participants. The statistics used to analyze were frequency percentage mode mean and standard deviation (S.D.) whereas T - Test and F - Test were used to test the hypothesis.
From the research it was found that the overall employees of Sakonkrairoj Co.,Ltd. had the satisfaction toward to the medical service in a medium level namely for the service and medical service the mean was 3.23 and S.D equaled to 0.78, for the officer, the mean was 3.26 and S.D equaled to 0.79, for the place and facilities the mean was 3.20 and S.D equaled to 0.79. For the knowledge 96.40% of the participants knew and understood that to receive the medical service the identification card had to be presented together with the social security card and the medical card.
The result from the hypothesis test showed that (1) the patients using state and private hospital services under the social security with different marital status (single and married) had different levels of satisfaction toward the attire enthusiasm and care taking of the office the cleanliness and the sufficiency of toilet (2) the patients using state and private hospital services under the social security during the ages of
15 - 25 years 26 - 36 years and 37 - 60 years had different levels of satisfaction toward the speed of physicians diagnosis result the sufficiency of toilet and drinking water.
(3) the patients using state and private hospital services under the social security had different levels of satisfaction toward the place and facilities.
Suggestion : To effectively provide service and respond to the demand of the patients using state and private hospital services under the social security documents or journals on the rights and benefits from the Social Security Office should be provided to the patients using hospital services under the social security every month or every
3 months. Moreover it should have training officers on benefits and right at enterprises in order to provide knowledge and understanding on regulations and right and benefits and for the highest satisfaction.
