Abstract:
This study was conducted to compare practical organizational development process in basic school the Surin educational service area office 2. The population used in the research was randomed of Krejcie and Morgan technique by using Stratified Random Sampling. Therefore, the samples were from educational institute administrators and teachers in academic year 2007. Numbers of total samples 479 consist of 150 educational institute administrators and 329 teachers. The instrument used for gathering data was a rating scale questionnaire comprising of 61 items list with reliability of 0.98. Statistical analysis were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation. The t-test, however, was also used for hypothesis testing.
The results were as follows:
1. The organizational development process in basic school under the Surin educational service area office 2 were shown generally at the high level. When considering the individual aspects, the highest value was from the item of consciousness and problem perception and followed by organizational development planning, operational development organization, supporting development organization, evaluation development organization and diagnosing problem organizing, respectively while the lowest one was data accumulation
2. The organizational development process in basic school under the Surin educational service area office 2 were considered both educational institute administrators and teachers. They showed statistical significant difference at the level of .05 in both general and individual aspects except the items of data accumulation and diagnosing problem organizing.
3. The comparison the opinion of educational institute administrators and teachers toward the organizational development process in basic school under the Surin educational service area office 2 were classified as status. In general, showed statistical significant difference at the level of .05 while considering the opinion of individual aspects were also significantly different at the level of .05 but only 3 items list such as data accumulation, evaluation and supporting organizational development system.
4. The comparison the opinion of educational institute administrators and teachers toward the organizational development process in basic school under the Surin educational service area office 2 were classified as experiences. In general, there was significantly different at the level of .05. When considering the opinion of individual aspects, there were also significantly different at the level of .05 but only 3 items list such as data accumulation, evaluation and supporting organizational development system.
5. The comparison the opinion of educational institute administrators and teachers toward the organizational development process in basic school under Surin educational service area office 2 were classified as a size of school. In general, there was significantly different at the level of .05. When considering the opinion of individual aspects, there were also significantly different at the level of .05 but only 3 items list such as consciousness and perception, organizational development planning and supporting organizational development system.
