Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to build the model silk reeling machine. The dyeing and drying silk were done by built silk reeling machine4 in order to have the special qualification.
The research methodology was divided into topics which are analyzing the literature review and related studies, designing and building the silk reeling machine, the dyeing and drying silk test, and making conclusion of this research.
The research result and conclusions of Development of Silk Fibers Utilizing for Industrial Application was as follows :
1. It was found from the test of the model silk reeling machine efficiency compare with the local silk reeling machine that the amount of silk fibers reeled by the model machine was averaged 121.9/hour. On the other hand, the amount of silk fivers reeled by the local machine was averaged 15.87 grams/hour. It showed that the model machine which has the proper reeling speed and efficient boiling temperature can produce the amount of silk fibers 8 fold per hour.
2. It was found form the test of the model silk reeling machine efficiency compare with the silk reeling machine that the amount of silk fibers reeled by the model machine was averaged 121.9 grams/hour. On the other hand, the amount of silk fibers reeled by the electric motor machine was averaged 120 grams/ hour. It showed that the model machine which has the proper reeling speed and efficient boiling temperature can produce the amount of silk fibers 1.9 fold per hour.
3. It was found from the test that the efficient boiling temperature could be 90 degree Celsius for 20 minute boiling with the 6 liter pot. It could offer standard silk thread.
4. The result of satisfying analyzing by local Surin people is divided into 3 parts which are 1) the structure designing 2) the standard parts of machines 3) the designing of motor and motor control.
The variables of this study are addresses and occupations of fifty-five people who answer the questionnaire. The result of satisfaction level about designing and developing the model silk reeling machine for the agricultures and local Surin people was at the good level.(x=4.02,S.D.=0.31) By ranking the satisfaction level of the efficiency of the model silk reeling machine for three part are 1) the designing 2) the standard parts of machines 3) the designing of motor and motor control, they are all at the good level (x=4.02,4.06, and 3.92,S.D.=0.27,0.39 and 0.55 respectively). The conclusion of the electronics, machinery and weld professionals evaluation for the efficiency of silk reeling machine found that it is at the good level.
5. The researcher had sent the silk fibers reeled by both the model and local reeling machine to Textile Analyzing Center in order to measure the amount of silk strand and the sticky of silk fibers. It was found that the silk fibers reeled by the model silk reeling machine could be stood by pulling at 8.52 Newton but the later was at 6.26 Newton.
6. The test of dyeing silk fibers was done three times by Thailand Textile Institute. The difference result from the first time was taken to be the example of measurement comparison. The difference of the second and the third time was at 1.16 and 2.33. it showed that there were not mch difference from three examples.
