Abstract:
The research purposes were to study hospital performance as perceived by personals of hospitals in Surin and the correlation of leadership and hospital accreditation performance as perceived by personnel of hospitals in Surin. The subjects consisted of 310 personals of hospitals in Surin. They were randomly sleeted through proportional stratified random sampling technique that shared with 3 levels of administers, department leaders and practices.
The instruments include the questionnaires of personal data, leadership of personals of hospitals and hospital accreditation performance as perceived by personals of hospitals. The questionnaires content validity were obtained and Cronbachs alpha coefficients of 0.98 respectively. Data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, arithmetic means, standard deviation and Pearsons product moment correlation coefficient.
The research findings were as follows :
1. Hospital acceptation performance as perceived by personnel of hospitals in Surin were at a high level. (X = 3.86 ; S.D. = 0.53) The individual aspects were found appropriate at the high level in every individual aspect such as 1) vision , goal and objective 2) activity of quality development 3) organization management and administration 4) environment , structure and locality 5) service procession 6) policy and practice 7) tool, equipment and convenient produce 8) human resources development and 9) human resources management (x = 4.24, 4.06, 3.96, 3.85, 3.85, 3.81, 3.74, 3.67, 3.60) respectively.
2. Correlation of leadership and hospital accreditation performance as perceived by personnel of hospitals in Surin were at a medium level ( r =0.346) that had significant at the .05 level. The individual aspects were found appropriate at the middle level in 2 individual aspects such as opinion of human relation and intelligence ( x = 0.392, 0.315) that had significance at the .05 level respectively. They were appropriate at the low level in 2 individual aspects such as social skill expertise and sprit ( r= 0.212, 0.199) that had significance at the .05 level respectively.
