Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and compare the teachers satisfaction in school which performed the instruction in the early childhood level to the stratified level 2, the early childhood level to the stratified level 3, and the stratified level 3 to the stratified level 4 and to compare the teachers stratification in school which passed the evaluation criteria of gold level, silver and bronze level under in Surin educational service area office 2. The sample groups were 331 teachers in schools which participated in the operation of health promoting school project in academic year 2004. The instrument used for gathering data was questionnaire with the confidential level of 0.97. The statistics used for data analysis consisted of Item Objective Congruence (IOC), Alpha Coefficient for data reliability, percentage, mean, standard deviation and One-way Analysis of Variance.
The results of this research were as follows : Most teachers who have taught in schools which performed the instruction in early childhood level to stratified level 2 and worked as sanitary teachers, bookkeeping and academic management almost passed the evaluation criteria of silver level. The sesults of comparison on teachers satisfaction toward the operation of health schools project were at high level as a whole and in each aspect, social support aspect, nutrition and food aspect and sanitation service aspect. The results of teachers satisfaction in schools which performed the instruction in early childhood level to stratified level 3 and stratified level 3 to stratified level 4 toward the operation of health schools project were significant different at the level 0.05 in health promoting policy aspect, environmental aspect, health study aspect, nutrition and food aspect, counseling aspect and social support aspect. He results of comparison on teachers satisfaction in schools which passed the evaluation criteria of gold level, silver level and bronze level were found that there were significant at the level 0.05 for the teachers in schools which passed the evaluation criteria differently in health promoting policy aspect, administrative management aspect, community-school cooperation project aspect, environment management aspect, sanitary service aspect, health study aspect, nutrition and food aspect, sport and recreation aspect, counseling aspect, social support aspect, personnael health promotion aspect. The problems and obstacles for operation of health promoting schools project by considering from each aspect starting the highest to the lowest was nutrition and food aspect, school sanitation service aspect and health promoting policy aspect.
