a Study of Problems of Monitoring and Evaluating the Project in the Annual Operational Plan of the Schools Under the Jurisdiction of Sisaket Educational Service Area 2
Abstract:
This research was intended to study and compare the problems of monitoring and evaluating the projects in the annual operational plans of the schools according to their size : small-sized schools and large-sized schools. The population and samples consisted of the administrators and the budgeters of the schools under the jurisdiction of Sisaket Educational Service Area 2, totaling 264.
The tool employed for collecting data was a 5-rating scale questionnaire containing 48 items. Rating scale questionnaire has a reliability of 0.98. Data was analyzed by the use of an SPSS program to find out the percentage, the mean, the standard deviation, and the t-test.
The research findings showed that the schools under the jurisdiction of Sisaket Educational Service Area 2 had the problems of monitoring and evaluating the projects in their operational plans at a moderate level. Having considered holistically according to the school sizes, both small-sized and large-sized schools had the problems at a moderate level.
Having compared the problems of monitoring and evaluating the projects in the annual operational plans of the schools, it was found that both small and large-sized schools had no different problems in monitoring and evaluating the projects.
