Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพเศรษฐกิจ - สังคม และปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการพัฒนาป่าชุมชนของชุมชนบ้านยางห้วยยะอุ อำเภอแม่สอด จังหวัดตาก ตลอดจนแนวทางที่ชุมชนจะพัฒนาป่าชุมชนต่อไปในอนาคต โดยใช้แบบสอบถามสัมภาษณ์หัวหน้าครัวเรือนบ้ายางห้วยยะอุ จำนวน 101 ครัวเรือน สถิติที่ใช้ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าสูงสุด ค่าต่ำสุด ไคสแควร์ และแครมเมอร์ วี ที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่น .05ผลการศึกษาพบว่าหัวหน้าครัวเรือนส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย อายุเฉลี่ย 39.48 ปี ไม่ได้เรียนหนังสือ ประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรมเป็นหลัก มีรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อปี 12,361.38 บาท มีระยะเวลาในการตั้งถิ่นฐานที่ตำบลด่านแม่ละเมา อำเภอแม่สอด จังหวัดตาก เป็นระยะเวลานานกว่า 20 ปี มีแนวคิดที่จะพัฒนาป่าชุมชนให้เกิดความยั่งยืนต่อไปในอนาคต โดยต้องการให้เจ้าหน้าที่หรือหน่วยงานของรัฐเข้ามาสนับสนุนในการดำเนินงานพัฒนาป่าชุมชนผลการศึกษาทางสถิติ เพื่อวิเคราะห์หาความเป็นอิสระระหว่างการพัฒนาป่าชุมชนกับปัจจัยต่าง ๆ 13 ปัจจัย โดยใช้วิธีไคสแควร์ ที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่น .05 พบว่า การพัฒนาป่าชุมชนมีความสัมพันธ์กับระยะเวลาในการตั้งถิ่นฐาน การได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารด้านป่าไม้ การพบปะเจ้าหน้าที่ป่าไม้ การได้รับการฝึกอบรมด้านป่าไม้ ความรู้ภูมิปัญญาพื้นบ้าน การได้รับผลประโยชน์จากป่าชุมชน และการเป็นสมาชิกกลุ่มป่าชุมชนของราษฎรบ้านยางห้วยยะอุ และเป็นอิสระไม่ขึ้นกับปัจจัยทางด้านเพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา การประกอบอาชีพ รายได้ครัวเรือน และการร่วมกลุ่มทำกิจกรรมเพื่อพัฒนาท้องถิ่น The research aims to study socio-economic status of the communities of Ban Yang Huai Ya-u, Amphoe Mae sot, Changwat Tak and factors influencing development of community forest and also guidelines for communities to improve their community forest in the future ; by using questionnaires to interview 101 head of households. Statistical methods used in this study comprise frequency, percentage, means, maximum, minimum, chi-square and Cramer's V at conficence level .05.The result reveals that most of the head of households are male with average age of 40 without formal education, work mainly in agriculture, have average income at 12,361.38 baht/year, setted in Ban Dan Mae La Mao, Amphoe Mae sot, Changwat Tak for more than 20 years, having idea to improve community forest for sustainability. They require support of officials or public sector for operation of community forest development.Statistical assessments of independency between community forest development and each of 13 factors using chi - square at the confidence level .05, have found that community forest development related to period of settlement, receiving forest information, frequent contact with forest officials, obtaining forestry training experience, having local knowledge, accessible to profit from community forest and being member of Yang Huai Ya - U's community forest group. The independent factors are sex, age, educational background, occupation, household's income and participation in acitivities for local development.
