Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study media exposure, knowledge; attitude and participation in using environment friendly-products of private enterprise employees in Bangkok metropolis and to examine the correlation among media exposure, knowledge levels, attitude and participation in using environment friendly-products of private enterprise employees in Bangkok metropolis. Questionnaires were used to collected the data from a total of 400 samples. Frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient were employed for the analysis of the data. SPSSX program was used for data processing.
The results of the study were as follows:
1) Employees different in sex, education, occupation and income were exposed to mass media, personal media, specialized media and Internet differently.
2) Media exposure did not correlate with knowledge of environment friendly-products.
3) Exposure to information about environment friendly-products from television, newspaper, personnel of government agency, private enterprise and NGO, member of family, relative, P.R.Bulletin Board, folder, poster, exhibition and special event positively correlated with attitude forward environment friendly-products.
4) Exposure to information about environment friendly-products from radio, newspaper, magazine, personnel of government agency, private enterprise and NGO, relative, colleague, friend, acquaintance, folder, leaflet, poster, mobile event, exhibition, special event and training positively correlated with participation in using environment friendly-products.
5) .Knowledge of environment friendly-products did not correlate with attitude toward environment friendly-products.
6) Knowledge of environment friendly-products did not correlate with participation in using environment friendly-products.
7) Attitude toward environment friendly-products positively correlated with participation in using environment friendly-products.
