Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop the indicators of classroom action research competency of secondary school science teachers and 2) to study the classroom action research competency of secondary school science teachers under the department of basic education, Nakorn Sri Thammaraj Metropolis. The sample consisted of secondary school science teachers under the department of basic education, Nakorn Sri Thammaraj Metropolis. The research instruments were classroom action research competency form and classroom action research competency test. Descriptive statistics were performed.
The main findings were as follows:
1. The classroom action research competency and indicators comprised of 100 indicators. 6 factors in 3 parts. The 3 parts consisted of 3 factors 39 indicators of knowledge. 1 factor 40 indicators of ability and 2 factors 21 indicators of affective.
2. The Quality of knowledge of classroom action research competency of secondary school science teachers under the department of basic education, Nakorn Sri Thammaraj Metropolis by testing was in the good level.
3. The Quality of ability of classroom action research competency of secondary school science teachers under the department of basic education, Nakorn Sri Thammaraj Metropolis by evaluation by teachers themselves was in the very good level.
4. The Quality of affective of classroom action research competency of secondary school science teachers under the department of basic education, Nakorn Sri Thammaraj Metropolis by evaluation by teachers themselves was in the very good level.
