Abstract: "การศึกษาผลของตำรับเจลล้างมือจากน้ำมันตะไคร้ 3 สูตร ที่มีความเข้มข้นของน้ำมันตะไคร้ต่างกัน คือ 5, 6 และ7 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ต่อประสิทธิภาพในการยับยั้งเชื้อแบคทีเรีย 5 สายพันธุ์ ได้แก่ Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella sp. และ Pseudomonas aeruginosa โดยวิธี disc diffusion พบว่าตำรับเจลล้างมือจากน้ำมันตะไคร้สูตรที่ 3 มีความเข้มข้น 7 เปอร์เซ็นต์ สามารถยับยั้งเชื้อแบคทีเรียที่นำมาทดสอบได้ทุกสายพันธุ์ จากนั้นนำเจลล้างมือสูตรที่ 3 ไปทดสอบฤทธิ์ในการยับยั้งโดยวิธี hand washing พบว่าหลังล้างมือด้วยเจลล้างมือแล้วเชื้อจุลินทรีย์บนมือลดลง 80.53 เปอร์เซ็นต์ และจากการทดสอบด้วยวิธี challenge test พบว่าเจลล้างมือสูตรที่ 3 มีฤทธิ์ในการยับยั้งเชื้อ Bacillus cereus ได้ทั้งหมด แต่มีฤทธิ์ในการยับยั้งเชื้อ Escherichia coli ที่เวลา 2 และ 5 นาที ยับยั้งได้ 59.09 และ 70.45 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ตามลำดับ The study of the effects of different concentratiers lemongrass oil in the three formula with 5, 6 and 7 percent, respectively washing gel in the inhibitory of Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella sp. and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The inhibition efficiency was determined by clear zone. Measurement with the disc diffusion method. The results showed the gel with 7 percent lemongrass oil had the highest efficency in inhibition of the different types of bacteria tested. Only sample were able of inhibit 3 types of bacteria. It was found that 80.53 percent of bacteria found on the hand could be inhibited by the hand gel. Then testing for challenge test result that the hand washing gel formula three for effective inhibition of Bacillus cereus most. The effective inhibition of Escherichia coli that two minute and five minute inhibit those 59.09 and 70.45 percent respectively.
