Abstract:
The propose of this research was to study the selected factors related to senior high school students high task and high maintenance leadership styles. The sample were 200 Matayomsuksa 4, 5 and 6, aged 15-18,from co-education schools in Bangkok, devided into 2 groups by Leadership Questionnaire : 100 students high task and high maintenance leadership styles and 100 students low task and low maintenance leadership styles. Independent variables were birth order, academic achievement, personality, self-esteem and emotional intelligence. The research instruments were Personal Data Questionnaire, Leadership Questionnaire, Personality Questionnaire, Self-esteem Questionnaire and Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire. The data were analyzed by Logistic Regression Analysis showed that all of 5 variables related to senior high school students high task and high maintenance leadership styles as significantly followed: personality (p<.01), emotional intelligence (p<.01), academic achievement(p<.01), birth order (p<.05) and self-esteem (p<.05). The selected factors related to senior high school students high task and high maintenance leadership styles at 86.5% are extroversion personality, high emotional intelligence, high academic achievement, first birth order and high self-esteem
