Abstract:
The research is concentrated on environmental control of wastewater resources and prediction of their future impacts arisen from rapid development of Keang Khoi Municipality based on the increasing of industrialized areas of Ampheo Keang Khoi in particular which leading to a large amount of municipal wastewater discharged into Pha Sak River as well as negative impact on its water quality. The result can be concluded in the following paragraph. In the year 2018, Keang Khoi Municipality will have a population of 27,000 habitants with approximately 7,317 cubic meters of wastewater per day. Simulating model, Streeter and Phelps equations, indicates that if the flow rate of the river is about 5 cubic meters per second and the minimum velocity, of 0.043 meter per second in accordance with the amount of 5,176 cubic meters discharged wastewater, BOD 128 mg/l then the critical stage of water quality with 0.05 mg/l DO will occur at the distance of 6.7 kilometers down stream within the region of Ampheo Maung Saraburi. In order to solve this predicting water pollution during dry season is particular, a control of water released from Pha Sak Dam with flow rate of 10-15 cubic meters per second should be applied.
