Abstract:
This study aimed to explore attitude of Advance Info Service PCL employees towards corporate value and working behaviors and to study differences of working behaviors classified by personal factors and relationships between corporate value and employeesk working behaviors. Sources of data were secondary data from dissertations, related research and survey reports, articles, teaching materials, value and man power information from the companyks database and primary data from questionnaire surveys. Participants are 232 employees of Advance Info Service PCL, Southern Region. They are female (51.70%) and male (48.3%), age between 31-35 years (38.40%), have a Bachelorks degree or equivalent (83.20%) and work at the operational level (70.30%). Their service periods are between 4-6 years (41.40%).
With regard to attitude towards corporate values and working behaviors, the results showed that the overall attitude towards all values was at the high level. The attitude towards nInitiatives and Improvementsn was at the highest level, or at an average of 4.42 while that of nForward Lookingo was at the lower level, at an average of 3.68. The overall behavior in compliance with corporate value was at the high level. The behavior on nService Mindedo was at the highest level, an average of 3.82, and that on guarding against irrationality was at the lowest level, an average of 3.35. In addition, from the T-test between personal factors and working behaviors, it was found that different personal factors i.e. gender, age, educational level, position level and service period resulted in different working behaviors. Malek working behaviors level were higherthan that of female. Working behaviors of employees aged 40 years and higher and age 25 years and lower were at the highest level and lowest level. Employees having the master degree or higher had higher working behaviors level than that of those having lower than the bachelorks degree. Employees at the management level had higher working behaviors than that of those of the operational level. Employees with service periods 11 years and higher had the highest level of working behaviors. Employees with service periods less than 1 year had the lowest level of working behaviors. Not least from the T-test between attitude and working behaviors, it was found that, in the overall picture, attitude towards each value had a positive relationship with working behaviors. There were highly positive in terms of nForward Lookingo, nTeamworko, nVision Focuso and nAccountabilityo.
