Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and to compare the organizational climate of primary schools under the Office of Rayong Educational Service Area 1 categorized by the size of school, the teachers status and the working experience in the academic year of 2010. The samples were 268 teachers. The 4- rating scale questionnaires with reliability of.99 was the instrument for data collecting in the study. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean (Χ), standard deviation (S.D), t-test, and F-test (One-Way ANOVA) and Least Significant Difference (LSD) was used for pair comparison. The result of the study revealed that the organizational climate of primary schools under the Office of Rayong Educational Service Area 1 in the overall aspects was the controlled climate. Categorized by schools size, teachers status and working experience, it was found that the organizational climate of primary schools was also the controlled climate. The comparison of the teachers opinions toward the organizational climate categorized by the schools size found that there were significant difference in the aspect of disengagement, intimacy, aloofness, production emphasis and trust dimensions except the rest. The comparison of the teachers opinions toward the organizational climate categorized by the teachers status found that the aspect of disengagement, esprit, production emphasis, thrust and consideration dimensions were significant difference at 0.5 level except the rest aspect. The comparison of the teachers opinions toward the organizational climate categorized by working experience found that the aspect of disengagement, production emphasis and thrust dimensions were significant difference at 0.5 level except the rest aspect.
