Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาถึงระดับความร่วมมือของประชาชน และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความร่วมมือของประชาชนในการป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรมของข้าราชการตำรวจในเขตอำเภอเมืองจังหวัดจันทบุรี ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ ประชาชนในเขตอำเภอเมือง จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 384 ครัวเรือน โดยอาศัยการกำหนดกลุ่มตัวอย่างตามสูตรของ เครจซี่ และมอร์แกน (Krejcie and Morgan) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.96 จากนั้นได้นำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป เพื่อหาค่าร้อยละ คะแนนเฉลี่ย ความเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน F-test และ t- test และทดสอบหาความแตกต่าง ของคะแนนเฉลี่ย รายคู่ โดยเทคนิคเชฟเฟ่ (Scheffe’) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ระดับการให้ความร่วมมือของประชาชนในป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรมของข้าราชการตำรวจในเขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดจันทบุรีโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก แยกเป็นรายด้าน การให้ความร่วมมือของประชาชนในการป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรมด้านความปลอดภัยในชีวิตและทรัพย์สินอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง การให้ความร่วมมือของประชาชนในการป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรมด้านยาเสพติดอยู่ในระดับมาก 2) เปรียบเทียบปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการให้ความร่วมมือของประชาชนในการป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรม ประชาชนที่มี เพศต่างกันการให้ความร่วมมือของประชาชนในการป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรม โดยรวมไม่แตกต่างกัน และประชาชนที่มี อายุ สถานภาพสมรส ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้ ระยะเวลาการพักอาศัย และความรู้ความเข้าใจต่างกันการให้ความร่วมมือของประชาชนในการป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรม โดยรวม แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

Abstract: The purpose of this research are a) to study levels of people’s participation about criminal prevention and protection of Muang District police officers in Muang District Chantaburi province b) to study levels of factors that effect to Peoples’ Particiation about that. The sampling group composed of 384 individual homes based on the criteria of Krejcie and Morgan of Muang District people. The tool used to determine was 5-rate scale with the validity of 0.96. Then SPSS Program was used to determine the percentage, means, S.D., F-test and t-test respectively to solve the average of difference by Scheffe’ method. The result was found that : 1) The levels of people’s participation about criminal prevention and protection of Muang District Police officers were in high level by overall. When we consider on each side, the people’s participation about property security were in the fair level, but in drug was in high level. 2) Comparison of factor that influence to people’s participation in criminal prevention and protection in overall were no statistical significant difference. But people with different age,marital status, education level, job, revenue, period of time in inhabitant and understanding corporatived in prevention and protection by overall, were statistical significant difference at .05 level.
