Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the level of participating and to compare
the participating in the administration of the village funds committee in Klongyai district,Trat
province, classified by personal factor, perception of data and information, supporting in
operation from governmental institute, understanding and expectation about the gain from the
village funds. The samples were 205 village funds committee from 19 village funds in Klongyai
district, Trat province. The tool used in this research was the questionnaire that emphasized on the
characteristics of participating level in the administration of the village funds committee, for 5
categories, for example, share in planning, share in operating, share in making a decision, share in
gaining an advantage, and share in mornitoring and evaluating. The statistics used for data
analysis were frequency , percentage ,mean, standard deviation , t-test and F-test.
The results were : 1) The level of the participating in the administration of the village
funds committee was at the moderate. 2) The comparison on the participating in the administration
of the village funds committee with different variables were founds as follows. 2.1) The participating
in the administration of the village funds committee classified by personal factor found that
gender, age, occupation, marriage status, the period of time in holding the position, the experience
for being committeeman of the other funds were not significant different however, education
level, income and status of the village funds from standard village funds arrangement were
significant different at .05 level. 2.2) The village funds committee had difference in perception of
data and information, understanding and expectation about the gain from the village funds but the
participating in the administration of the village funds was not significant different. 2.3) The
village funds committee had difference in supporting in operating from governmental institute, the
participating in the administration of the village funds was significant different at .05 level.
