Relationship between school administrators leadership and teachers job satisfaction in schools under the office of Chanthaburi educational service area 2
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and compare teachers job satisfaction classified by gender, educational levels and work experiences and the relationship between school administrators leadership and teachers job satisfaction in schools under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2.
The samples were 320 school teachers under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2 by stratified random sampling. The research instruments were 5-rating scale questionnaires with alpha-coefficient at 0.88 for the school administrators leadership questionnaire and at 0.84 for the teachers job satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis and hypothesis testing were frequency,
percentage, mean, standard deviation, alpha-coefficient, Pearson product moment correlation and
t-test. The results of study were as follows : 1) School administrators leadership both
initiating structure leadership and consideration leadership were at the high levels. 2) Teachers job
satisfaction classified by gender, educational levels and work experiences were at the high levels.
3) Teachers job satisfaction classified by gender, educational levels and work experiences were
different with no statistical significance. 4) The relationship between school administrators
leadership and teachers job satisfaction was positive statistically significantly correlated at .01 level.
