Abstract: การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการการพัฒนาทักษะการบริหาร ในด้านทักษะทางเทคนิค ด้านทักษะทางมนุษยสัมพันธ์ และด้านทักษะทางความคิดรวบยอด ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาอำนาจเจริญ และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบความต้องการการพัฒนาทักษะการบริหาร ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาอำนาจเจริญ โดยจำแนกตาม วุฒิการศึกษา ประสบการณ์ในการบริหาร และขนาดของโรงเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาอำนาจเจริญ ปี 2550 จำนวน 165 คน จำแนกเป็นผู้บริหารโรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่ จำนวน 60 คน โรงเรียนขนาดกลาง จำนวน 53 คน และโรงเรียน ขนาดเล็ก จำนวน 52 คน โดยกำหนดขนาดของกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้ตารางกำหนดสัดส่วนของ Krejcie and Morgan ใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้น (Stratified Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามมีลักษณะเป็นแบบ มาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับ เท่ากับ .98 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่า t และการทดสอบค่า F เมื่อพบความแตกต่างรายคู่ทดสอบโดยวิธีของ Scheffe ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1. ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาอำนาจเจริญ มีความต้องการการพัฒนาทักษะการบริหาร โดยรวมและรายด้านอยู่ในระดับมาก 2. ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาอำนาจเจริญ ที่มีวุฒิการศึกษาปริญญาตรีและสูงกว่าปริญญาตรี มีความต้องการการพัฒนาทักษะทางการบริหารโดยรวมและด้านทักษะทางเทคนิค แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 3. ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาอำนาจเจริญ ที่มีประสบการณ์ในการบริหารต่างกัน มีความต้องการการพัฒนาทักษะทางการบริหารโดยรวมและรายด้านแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 4. ผู้บริหารสถานศึกา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาอำนาจเจริญ ที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในโรงเรียนที่มีขนาดต่างกัน มีความต้องการการพัฒนาทักษะทางการบริหารโดยรวมและรายด้านแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 The purposes of this research were to investigate the needs for developing administrative skills in relation to technical skill, human relations skill, and conceptualization skill of the school administrators working under the Jurisdiction of Educational Service Are Office of Amnat Charoen and to compare their needs categorized by particular demographic features namely educational background, experience in administration job, and school size. The sample consisted of 165 school administrators working under the Jurisdiction of Educational Service Are Office of Amnat Charoen in the year B.E. 2550 (A.D. 2007). They were classified on the school size basis which accounted for 60 samples for the big school, 53 for the medium size, and 52 for the small size school. They were selected by means of the stratified random sampling technique on the basis of Krejcie and morgan’s sample criterion. A five-scale rating questionnaire with the overall coefficient reliability of .98 was used as the research instrument. Statistics, that is, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, and Scheffe test were utilized to analyze the collected data. The research findings were as follows: 1. The school administrators who worked under the Jurisdiction of Educational Service Are Office of Amnat Charoen wanted to develop the overall and different aspects of administration skills at a highest level. 2. Those who obtained a bachelor degree and those who had a higher degree were found statistically significant different in the needs for administrative skill development of both overall and different skill aspects at level .01. 3. The school administrators who had different experiences in administrative jobs were also found statistically significant different in the needs for administrative skill development of both overall and different skill aspects at level .01. 4. The school administrators who worked in big, medium, and small size schools were found statistically significant different in the needs for administrative skill development of both overall and different skill aspects at level .01.
