An Understanding of the educational reforms according to the national education law of 2542 B.E. and Its amendment annex (2nd version) of 2545 B.E. of the government school teachers under the jurisdiction of the office of Ubon Ratchathani educational service area 2
Abstract:
The objectives of this study were to investigate and to compare the understanding of the school teachers under the jurisdiction of the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Educational Service Area 2 about the Educational Reforms According to National Education Law of 2542 B.E. and Its Amendment Annex (2nd Version) of 2545 B.E. The respondents opinions compared were analyzed on the basis of their positions held, work experiences, and school size.
A total of 465 samples covering 144 school administrators and 321 teachers were employed in the study. They were selected by using the table of Krejcie and Morgan. The research instrument was a five-scale rating questionnaire with the overall coefficient reliability of .97 consisting of 40 question items. The statistics utilized for data analysis included, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Scheffes comparison test.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The understanding of the teachers under the jurisdiction of the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Educational Service Area 2 about the Educational Reforms According to National Education Law of 2545 B.E. and Its Amendment Annex (2nd Version) of 2545 B.E. were found to be at a high level in the overall and different aspects.
2. The understanding of the school administrators and teachers about the Educational Reforms According to National Education Law of 2545 B.E. and its Amendment Annex (2nd Version) of 2545 B.E. were not found to be overall different at a significant level.
3. The understanding of the school administrators and teachers working in schools with different size about the Educational Reforms According to National Education Law of 2545 B.E. and Its Amendment Annex (2nd Version) of 2545 B.E. were found to be overall different at level .05 of significance.
4. The understanding of the school administrators and teachers who were different in work experiences about the Educational Reforms According to National Education Law of 2545 B.E. and Its Amendment Annex (2nd Version) of 2545 B.E. were not found to be overall different at a significant level.
