Abstract:
Objectives of this research article were to 1. Create and determine the curriculum effectiveness index and 2. Study the results from the curriculum implementation. The research was pre-experimental design. The target groups in this research were 37 students who were studying in the second semester, Academic Year 2021 at Suebnathitam School. Tools used for this research were 1. Curriculum 2. Curriculum Manual 3. The comprehension enhance geo literacy based evaluation form. The data was analyzed by determining of percentage, means (𝑥̅̅), standard deviation (S.D.), and t-test dependent samples.
The results of the research were as follows: 1.The curriculum for enhancing comprehensive reading ability using DR-TA Strategy for grade 3 students consisted of 7 elements; Problem statement, Principle of curriculum, Aims of curriculum, Content structures, Activity, Materials Resources and Learning sources, Measurement and evaluation. The curriculum with a highest level of the curriculum suitability mean (𝑥̅̅= 4.34, S.D. = 0.73). In terms of the curriculum's manual found the suitability mean was at the highest level (𝑥̅̅= 4.39, S.D. = 0.74). The result from determining curriculum effectiveness showed the effectiveness index was at 0.8382 2. The study of the results from the curriculum implementation found after studying, students had higher improvement score than prior the curriculum management. at the statistical significance level of .05.
