Abstract: This paper presents a method for dynamic analysis of a large induction machine connected to a grid power system. The proposed method is based on an open-source program, offering advantages in reducing simulation cost and time. The equivalent circuit of the induction motor consists of a transient voltage source and impedance. The proposed approach was tested on a benchmark system and validated using the latest version of SimPowerSystems in MATLAB R2024b
