Strategic Management Guideline to Use Artificial Intelligence for Teaching in New Media of Zhejiang Industrial Vocational and Technical College, China
Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to investigate the needs and problems of artificial intelligence teaching in new media, and 2) to construct a strategic management guideline for artificial intelligence teaching in new media. The sample groups for investigating problems and needs were divided into 2 groups: namely, 1) 301 students, 2) 78 teachers. Moreover, the 3 specialists were invoiced for the focus group discussion meeting. The research instruments employed in this study were questionnaires and questions for the focus group discussion meetings. The information and data collected were analyzed through the content analysis method and presented in terms of frequency, mean, and standard deviation. The Likert rating scales were used to rate the degree or level of problems and needs. The findings indicated that: 1) by exploring the needs and problems of Al teaching in new media, it is found that the needs and problems to establish a new media Al teaching strategic management guideline is at a high level in Zhejiang Industrial Vocational and Technical College, China; and 2) the constructed strategic management guideline for artificial intelligence teaching in new media colleges comprises of 7 units; namely: 1) The vision and mission of new media artificial intelligence teaching, The strategic objective of new media artificial intelligence teaching, 3) Strategic plan for new media and artificial intelligence teaching, 4) The organizational structure of new media AI teaching, 5) Performance evaluation system of new media artificial intelligence teaching, 6) Risk management of new media and artificial intelligence teaching, and 7) Communication and change management in new media artificial intelligence teaching. All of the seven units were evaluated by the 3 specialists and possessed IOC values from 0.67 to 1.00 meaning that the constructed strategic management guideline is suitable for artificial intelligence teaching in new media at Zhejiang Industrial Vocational and Technical College.
