Abstract:
The study aimed to examine the level of perceived organizational support and personal factors that affect the job performance of employees. The
sample group comprised 203 employees in the Software Development Department. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The researcher collected data using an online questionnaire and obtained 190 complete questionnaires suitable for analysis, representing 93.60% of the sample. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The research findings revealed that employees' opinions on perceived organizational support in terms of rewards and welfare, job knowledge and advancement opportunities, job security, emotional support, and job performance were at a high level. The job performance was also at a high level. Additionally, it was found that personal factors such as gender and age differences affected the job performance of employees in the Software Development Department at ABC Company. The perceived organizational support factors, including job knowledge and advancement opportunities, emotional support, and job security, affected job performance by 58.8%
