Abstract:
This paper proposes a multipurpose donation box system. The system is developed to reduce fraud. The system counts the number of coins and bills inserted into the donation box, calculates the total amount of money specified for each purpose, and sends the data to the Blynk server, which forwards the information to the owners smartphone. To make the system standalone and reduce WiFi connection problems, the GSM cellular data network has been selected to communicate with the Blynk server. The accuracy of computing the value of inserted money is 100%, and the average total acceptance rate of both coins and bills is around 91.29%.
