Abstract:
The quality of life of sugarcane farmers in the Sugar Border Farmers Association, Eastern Border Frontier, Sakaew Province. This research aims to study the
quality of life of sugarcane farmers and compare the differences between personal data and the quality of life of sugarcane farmers in the Sugar Border Farmers Association, Eastern Border Frontier, Sakaew Province. The sample group consisted of 380 sugarcane farmers who are members of the Sugar Border Farmers Association, selected using a proportional random sampling method. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, Independent Samples T-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA).
The research findings revealed that the majority of the sample were male, aged 40-49 years, married, with a high school or vocational education, and had a monthly income of 15,001 20,000 Baht. Most of the participants were from Khlong Had District. They received news through online media, had been engaged in farming for 16-20 years, owned land with legal land documents, and had 0-3 family members aged 18-59 years involved in sugarcane cultivation. Regarding life quality, the physical and mental aspects were at a moderate level, the social relationships aspect was at a high level, and the environmental and economic aspects were at the highest level. The comparison of differences between personal data and the quality of life of sugarcane farmers in the Sugar Border Farmers Association, Eastern Border Frontier, Sakaew Province, showed significant differences based on education level, access to information, and the type of land
ownership for sugarcane cultivation at the 0.05 statistical significance level.
