Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to study, compare innovative comparison leadership classified by general status and study innovative leadership guideline development of school administrators according to teachers' perception under Bang Khen District Office, Bangkok. The sample group was 165 teachers, determined from Krejcie; & Morgan table by stratified random sampling. A 5-rating scale questionnaire was used as a tool for this study, which had confidence accuracy between 0.80-1 and confidence value 0.99. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and content analysis.
The results revealed that:
1. innovative leadership of the school administrators as perceived by the teachers under the Bang Khen District Office, Bangkok were at high level in all aspects, as follows: 1) vision of change, 2) risk management, 3) teamwork and participation, 4) create climate of innovative organization 5) use of information technology and communication, and 6) creative thinking, respectively.
2. Comparison of innovative leadership of the school administrators according to the teacher perceptions, classified by gender had significantly difference at .05 level, but classified by education level and school size were not significant different.
3. The guidelines for innovative leadership development for the school administrators are that the school administrators should 1) formulate policies for educational quality development by jointly administering and clarifying and understanding with teachers; 2) analyze risks that will occur through research; 3) organize learning exchange meetings to create a working atmosphere together as a team; 4) create and support information technology factors; 5) support the environment, organization climate; and 6) set up activities that allow teachers to fully create their own works.
