Participations of teachers in school administration of school administrators under the Bang Khen district office of Bangkok metropolitan administration
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the level of teachers' participation in schools administration, 2) to compare teachers' participation in schools administration of school administrators according to their status, and 3) to study guidelines for development. The samples were 165 teachers from Bang Khen District Office of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The determined sample size were determined using Krejcie and Morgan's tables and stratified random sampling. The instruments were a 5-rating scale questionnaire and a semi-structured interview form. The data were analyzed by computer program. The statistics used in analyzing data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One- way ANOVA, and content analysis.
The findings were as follows:
1. The participations of teachers in school administration of school administrators under the Bang Khen District Office of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration were at a high level in all aspects.
2. A comparison of teachers' participation in schools administration of school administrators under the Bang Khen District Office of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration classified by gender, work experience, and education level found no significantly difference in any aspect.
3. The guidelines for schools administration development were 1) Regulations should be established that was the same work standards in the conduct of schools to clear. 2) Adhere to the budget management approach that focuses on results. 3) Assign work to suit individual potential. 4) Implement the PDCA quality cycle to manage within schools, and providing opportunities for relevant personnel to participate in all work processes.
