Abstract:
This paper attempts to investigate whether a
small and low frequency Arduino ultrasonic
transducer can dry clothes in acceptable time. A
small drying cabinet of 1.6 ft. x 2 ft. x 1 ft. was
constructed. Several types of clothes which include
socks, T-shirts, shorts, woman's dresses, and jeans
are tested both with and without switching on the
ultrasonic sensors. The result shows that the
ultrasonic sensor can be applied for drying clothes at
satisfied drying time.
