Desirable characteristics of school administrators affecting the effectiveness of schools under the Pathumthani primary educational service area office 2
Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) study the desirable characteristics of school administrators, 2) study the effectiveness of schools, 3) study the relationship between desirable characteristics of school administrators affecting school effectiveness, and 4) study their desirable characteristics. The sample group was 285 teachers, determined sample size using Krejcie; & Morgan table and stratified random sampling. The tool was a 5-rating scale questionnaire which had IOC values between 0.80-1 and the reliability coefficient 0.97. The statistics for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis.
The results were as follows:
1. Desirable characteristics of school administrators under the Pathumthani Primary Educational Service Area 2 were at high level in all aspects.
2. School effectiveness under the Pathumthani Primary Educational Service Area 2 were at high level in all aspects.
3. The relationship between the desirable characteristics of school administrators affected school effectiveness in overall had a positive relationship with the school effectiveness at .05 level of significance.
4. The desirable characteristics of schools affecting the effectiveness of schools found that 3 aspects affected the school's effectiveness at .05 level of significance were leadership, personality, and morality and ethics.
