Abstract: This research is entitled “The Problems on Public Speaking of B.A. Students at Sittwe University in Myanmar. The objectives of this research are 1) to study the problems on public speaking of B.A. fourth-year students at the Faculty of Mathematics in Sittwe University, Arakan State, western Myanmar, 2) to find out the way to solve the problems of public speaking of B.A. fourth-year students at the Faculty of Mathematics in Sittwe University, Arakan state, western Myanmar. The study is mixed with quantitative and qualitative methods. Questionnaires were used for collecting quantitative data from 60 respondents and in-depth interviews were used for collecting qualitative data from 5 lecturers. In this research, statistics including Frequency, Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation (S.D.) were used for quantitative data, and content analysis was used for analyzing qualitative data. The results of the study were as below: General background of respondents: The results of the general background of respondents were that 32 students were males and 28 students were females. The respondents in the research, were mostly 21 to 30 years old about 58 respondents or 96.7%; 16 to 20 years old one respondent and 30 up ware one respondents in this research. The result of objective one: According to the responses of the participants to the research questionnaires, the results were that most of the students had difficulties in public speaking. The resultant average was a high level equal to x̅ = 3.72 and SD 1.076 in objective one of this study. The result of objective two: In the result of research objective two, the resultant average level was very high equal to x̅ =4.54 and SD .611 because most of the respondents agreed with the statements of objective two.
