Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to: 1) identify the current and desired state of digital leadership of vocational teachers under the Office of the Private Education Commission in Bangkok province and 2) suggest guidelines for enhancing digital leadership of the vocational teachers.
The samples of the research consisted of 316 administrators and vocational teachers under the Office of the Private Education Commission in Bangkok province. The research instrument used for data collection was a dual-response questionnaire with the reliability of .95. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, Modified Priority Need Index (PNIModified), and content analysis.
The research results revealed that: 1) the overall current state and the desired state of digital leadership of vocational teachers were at the high level. 2) The suggested guidelines for enhancing digital leadership of the vocational teachers included: (1) fostering teacher enthusiasm for learning new digital technologies, (2) encouraging curriculum development to meet the needs of the labor market and new digital technologies, (3) enhancing teacher involvement in the planning of organizational development, (4) acquiring new digital technologies and laboratories and (5) developing an information network system within educational institutions to exchange work-related information.
