Abstract:
The objectives of the study were: 1) to explore the level of organization commitment of police officers at Bang Lamung Police Station; 2) to compare the levels of organization commitment of police officers at Bang Lamung Police Station classified by personal factors; and 3) to examine the relationship between working motivation and organization commitment of police officers at Bang Lamung Police Station. This research was quantitative research. The samples collected by purposive sampling were 65 police officers. This research used a questionnaire to collect data. The statistical techniques were percentage, statishnal mean, standard deviation, one-wtaay ANOVA and Pearsons Moment Product Correlation.
The research results found that 1) the organization commitment of police officers at Bang Lamung Police Station was at a high level (¯x = 4.15); 2) police officers at Bang Lamung Police Station with different ages, status, education level, income, job positions, and length of service had no statistical difference in organizational commitment; 3) the relationship between motivation and organization commitment was positively related at the significance level of .05.
