States and Guidelines in Educational Anti - Corruption Curriculum Management of School Administrators under the Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office
Abstract:
This research aimed 1) to study the opinions of teachers regarding the educational anti-corruption curriculum of school administrators under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office, 2) to compare the opinions of teachers on the educational anti-corruption curriculum of school administrators under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office, classified by work experiences and school sizes, and 3) to investigate the guidelines of educational anti-corruption curriculum of school administrators under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office. This research was conducted in two phases. Phase 1 was focused on studying and comparing the opinions of teachers regarding the educational anti-corruption curriculum of school administrators under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The samples consisted of 346 teachers were using stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.95. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The hypotheses were tested by using t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and post-hoc comparisons with Scheffe's method. Phase 2 aimed to explore the guidelines of the educational anti-corruption curriculum of school administrators under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The samples consisted of 12 people selected through purposive sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was interview. The data were analyzed by using content analysis. The findings were as follows:
1. The states of the educational anti-corruption curriculum of school administrators under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office as perceived by teachers in overall were at a high level.
2. The states of the educational anti-corruption curriculum of school administrators under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office, classified by work experiences and school sizes, both in overall and each aspect were not different.
3. The guidelines for educational anti-corruption curriculum of school administrators under Buriram Secondary Educational Service Area Office included in managing the educational anti-corruption curriculum, the schools need to establish a curriculum structure that aligns with the school contexts, learning standards, and core indicators. Based on the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (2008), a committee is appointed to review and endorse the educational anti-corruption curriculum, ensuring that it is comprehensive, clear, and formally documented. The curriculum planning included designing learning activities that align with the educational anti- corruption curriculum theme, sourcing modern and diverse educational materials that are easy to understand. There is also an internal supervision plan that aligns with the educational anti-corruption curriculum, encompassing systematic teaching arrangements, teacher assignments, media and facilities provision, guidance, and support based on a foundation of goodwill and mutual learning. Furthermore, the results from the curriculum operation evaluations are used as foundational data for continuous improvement and enhancement of the curriculum management process.
