Abstract:
The objectives of this research were; 1) to study human resource development by Bunniyom or Puññist system or meritorious system of Asoka community, 2) to study human resource development according to Buddhism, 3) to integrate the Buddhist principles in human resource development with bunniyom system of Asoka Community, and 4) to propose approaches and knowledge body on "The Model of Human Resource Development by Bunniyom system of Asoka Community in Buddhist Integrated Approach". The data of this documentary qualitative research were collected from in-depth interviews with 10 experts and from focus group discussion with 5 experts. The results of the study indicated as follows: 1.Human resource development by Bunniyom system of Asoka Community has 4 important components: 1) Meanings and essences of 19 meritorious items, 2) 11 definitions of bunniyom, 3) The theory of profit-loss of civilized people, and 4) The Noble Eightfold Path of Samana Bodhi Rak. 2.The Buddhist principles used in the human resource development process of the Asoka community are the Threefold Training principles (Precept, Concentration, and Wisdom) and the Buddhist principles supporting human resource development. They are the 10 items of meritorious action or Puññakiriyavatthu, 6 principles of Saraniyadhamma, and 7 principles of Aparihaniyadhamma. 3.Integration of Buddhist principles with the Bunniyom system of Asoka Community is a process of human resource development in both matter and abstract to achieve the success in the same direction. The good results occurring from the practice of Asoka people for defilement eradication are in 4 sides; Self-development for the freedom in the whole community, Community development for integrity across the community, Culture for having peace across the community, and Economics for creating fraternity across the community. 4.The new body of knowledge gained from the study is the model of human resource development by the Bunniyom system of Asoka Community in the Buddhist Integrated Approach called the "FIPF" Model. It means the four forms Bunniyom; freedom, integrity, peace, and fraternity.
