Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to examine creativity, perceived the university support for creativity, and big 5 personality factors of students at Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Silpakorn University 2) to compare among the difference of personal factors of the students, creativity, perceived the university support for creativity, and big 5 personality factors. 3) the relationship between creativity, perceived the university support for creativity, and big 5 personality factors of the students 4) the influence of creativity of the students The study was quantitative research. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire for data collection from 329 students. Statistical methods in the research included Frequency, Percentage, Average, Standard Deviation, t-test for dependent Samples, One-way Analysis of Variance, The coefficient of Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis, and Stepwise Multiple Regression analysis. Results indicated that 1. Students at Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Silpakorn University have creativity and perceived the university support for creativity at a high level 2. Different Personal factors, categorized by where students study, have different creativity. Moreover, Different college years have different perceived the university support for creativity. Different Personal factors, categorized by sex, have different big 5 personality factors 3. There is a moderate Positive Correlation between creativity and perceived the university support for creativity. There is a moderate Positive Correlation between creativity and Neuroticism Factor, Extraversion factor, Agreeableness factor and Conscientiousness factor of big 5 personality factors 4. Perceived the university support for creativity, Agreeableness factor, Openness factor, Neuroticism factor of big 5 personality factors were factors affecting creativity.
