Abstract:
We explore the theoretical exploration of nonlinear processes in lowdimensional materials, focusing on the interplay between electrical surface interactions and optical effects during high harmonic emission (HHG). Our comprehensive study investigates the electrical interaction potential between surface (2D) materials and probes into the optical phenomena associated with the radiation of higher frequencies in one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) carbon-based materials, such as carbon nanotubes and graphene. The work provides a simplified asymptotic form of the Van der Waals potential and correlates this with the interaction potential's impact on contamination probabilities in manufacturing. Notably, our findings on high harmonic generation in these materials reveal distinct HHG characteristics influenced by bichromatic and trichromatic fields, offering insight into the photon emission trajectories and the promising application potential of these low-dimensional materials in advanced technological domains.
