The Relationship between Digital Leadership of Administrators and the Effectiveness of General Administration In Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Sakon Nakhon
Abstract:
This research aimed to investigate, compare, and determine the relationship and establish guidelines for developing the relationship between the digital leadership of administrators and the effectiveness of general administration in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office (SESAO) Sakon Nakhon. The sample consisted of 45 administrators, 45 heads of the general administration group, and 244 Teachers, yielding 334 participants. The research instruments included a set of questionnaires and interview forms. The questionnaires comprised: Part I, digital leadership of administrators, with the discriminative power ranging from 0.274 to 0.777 and the reliability of 0.973; Part II, the effectiveness of general administration in schools, with the discriminative power ranging from 0.274 to 0.777 and the reliability of 0.979. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, One - Way ANOVA, LSD multiple comparisons, and Pearsons product -moment correlation coefficient.
The findings were as follows:
1. The school administrators digital leadership was overall at a high level
2. The effectiveness of the general administration was overall at a high level.
3. The administrators digital leadership, classified by positions and work experience, showed no differences, both overall and in each aspect. However, when classified by school sizes, differences were observed both overall and in each aspect at the .01 level of significance.
4. The effectiveness of general administration in schools, classified by positions, school sizes, and work experience, showed no difference overall.
5. The administrators digital leadership and the effectiveness of general administration in schools under the SESAO Sakon Nakhon showed a positive relationship overall at the .01 level of significance, with a high level of correlation (rxy = 0.795**).
6. The guidelines for developing administrators digital leadership under the SESAO Sakon Nakhon were proposed in five aspects: Possessing a Digital Vision, administrators recognize the importance and establish clear goals for fostering innovation, and supporting the integration of digital tools in school administration; Digital Literacy, administrators should engage in developing self, teachers, and educators through training for teachers, and educators to enhance digital skills, and to integrate digital technologies in school administration, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness; Digital Communication, administrators should take the lead in utilizing both online and offline communication applications and technologies to reduce unnecessary steps, and redundancy, thereby ensuring increased effectiveness and added value; Creating a Digital Learning Culture, administrators should take the lead in promoting personnel development, to improve digital knowledge and abilities, supporting digital technology utilization for task performance, and building networks for continuous knowledge exchange in digital practices; and Development toward Digital Profession, administrators must have a clear vision for creatively integrating digital technology into educational development and school management and for transitioning effectively into the digital era.
