Organizing Activities for Storytelling and Role Plays of Guangxi folk Tales to Promote Respectful Mind of Young Children
Abstract:
The objectives of this research are 1) To study organizing music games to promote creative thinking of young children, and 2) To compare creative thinking behaviors of young children before and after music game activity. The target groups used in this research are: Future Star Kindergarten, Hechi City, Guangxi Province, 5-6 years old (big class) children, 15 children from the second semester of the first academic year in 2024 (middle and large class) for the experiment. In this research, the researcher used 2 types of tools: 1) Assessment of creativity in early childhood children 2) Music game activity plans to promote creativity in early childhood. Statistics used to analyze descriptive statistics include percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The research results found that: 1) Study storytelling activities and role-playing of folk tales. Carrying out storytelling and role-playing activities is an important part of the teaching process, which is mainly divided into 3 steps: (1) tell the concept of the activity, (2) The role of telling activities and (3) Describe the characteristics of the activity. It was found that young childhood children developed much better. 2) Compare behavior of respectful mind of young children before and after the storytelling and role-playing activities of Guangxi folk tales. The results of the study of the respectful mind behavior of the young children before and after organizing storytelling and role-playing activities revealed that the mindfulness of respectful mind behavior increased. It can be seen that after doing each activity Students have higher overall scores. Found that before doing the activity (x̄=27.27, S.D.=2.31, Ordinal 2) and after participating in the activity. (x̄=56.33, S.D. = 2.26, Ordinal 3)
