Abstract: การวิจัยเรื่อง บทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในการเผยแผ่หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา กรณีศึกษา การเผยแผ่หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนาวัดยางสุทธาราม มีวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยเพื่อศึกษาการเผยแผ่หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนาของพระสงฆ์ที่ จำพรรษาที่วัดยางสุทธาราม เพื่อศึกษาบทบาทของพระสงฆ์ที่มีผลต่อการเผยแผ่หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนาของพระสงฆ์ที่จำพรรษาที่วัดยางสุทธาราม และ เพื่อเสนอแนะแนวทางการพัฒนาบทบาทของพระสงฆ์ที่จำพรรษาที่ วัดยางสุทธารามในการเผยแผ่หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ คือ ประธานชุมชน รองประธานชุมชน คณะกรรมการชุมชน ตลอดถึงประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่ในเขตชุมชนวัดยางสุทธาราม มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น413 ตัวอย่าง โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ (Frequency) ค่าร้อยละ (Percent) โดยการทำตารางไขว้ (Cross Tabulation)ใช้สถิติ Chi-Square Tests และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบ Gamma ผลการศึกษาสรุปว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง สถานภาพสมรส มีอายุระหว่าง 41-50 ปี จบมัธยมศึกษา และมีรายได้ 4,001 – 8,000บาทต่อเดือน ผลการศึกษา พบว่า บทบาทของพระสงฆ์ด้านการพัฒนาแนวทางการเผยแผ่หลักธรรม ด้านการศึกษาสงเคราะห์ ด้านสาธารณะสงเคราะห์ ด้านการพัฒนาคุณสมบัติของผู้เผยแผ่ และด้านเทคนิควิธีในการถ่ายทอดความรู้ พบว่า อยู่ในระดับ “ปานกลาง” และบทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในการเผยแผ่หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนา พบว่า อยู่ในระดับ “ปานกลาง” ทั้งนี้ผลการทดสอบสมมติฐานทั้ง 5 ข้อ สรุปได้ว่า บทบาทของพระสงฆ์ ได้แก่ ด้านการพัฒนาแนวทางการเผยแผ่หลักธรรมด้านการศึกษาสงเคราะห์ ด้านสาธารณะสงเคราะห์ ด้านการพัฒนาคุณสมบัติของผู้เผยแผ่ และด้านเทคนิควิธีในการถ่ายทอดความรู้ มีผลต่อการเผยแผ่หลักธรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ข้อเสนอแนะของการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คือ 1) วัดยางสุทธาราม ควรมีการติดตามพฤติกรรมการดำรงชีวิตของกลุ่มพุทธศาสนิกชนที่ผ่านการฟัง หรือร่วมปฏิบัติธรรม เพื่อให้ทราบผลสัมฤทธิ์ของการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมและนำข้อมูลที่ได้ไปปรับปรุงแก้ไขข้อบกพร่องในแต่ละกิจกรรมให้เป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป หน่วยงานภาครัฐ โดยเฉพาะสำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนาแห่งชาติ ควรเข้าไปสนับสนุนกิจกรรมด้านการเผยแผ่ธรรมะเชิงรุก พร้อมทั้งวิเคราะห์จุดเด่นจุดด้อยของการเผยแผ่หลักธรรม ทำให้การเผยแผ่เชิงรุกอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ควรมีแนวทาง และกลยุทธ์ในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและพัฒนาด้านผู้ส่งสาร ตัวสาร และช่องทางการสื่อสาร เพื่อให้ตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของพุทธศาสนิกชน อันจะทำให้การเผยแผ่หลักธรรมเกิดผลสัมฤทธิ์ได้อย่างดียิ่ง 2) ควรศึกษาวิจัยเปรียบเทียบระหว่างบทบาทของพระสงฆ์ในวัดต่าง ๆ เพื่อให้เห็นถึงความแตกต่างทางความคิด ปัจจัยอื่นๆ และ ผลที่ตามมาในการเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนา ควรศึกษาวิจัยพระสงฆ์ที่เป็นตัวอย่างในการเผยแผ่หลักธรรมอย่างยั่งยืนในหลาย ๆ กรณี เพื่อนำไปเป็นแบบอย่างต่อการเผยแผ่หลักธรรม ควรศึกษาวิจัยกิจกรรมธรรมะในส่วนที่มีจุดประสงค์ของกิจกรรมที่แตกต่างกัน เพื่อให้สามารถประมวลผลถึงภาพรวมของการเผยแผ่ธรรมะเชิงรุก

Abstract: The study aims at studying the Role of Buddhist monks in Propagation of Buddhism: A Case Study of Propagation of Buddhism of Wat Yangsuttharam . The purposes of the study are to study the level of Wat Yangsutharam propagation of Buddhism, to study the role of Buddhist monks in Wat Yangsutharam propagation of Buddhism and to recommend the way to improve Wat Yangsutharam propagation of Buddhism. The sample of this study composes of Wat Yangsutharam community leader, co-leader, and people living in the area around Wat Yangsutharam and the sample size is 413 persons. The study is designed to utilize quantitative method and questionnaire to collect data. The statistics techniques are frequency, Percentage, Chi-Square Tests and correlation co efficiency of Gamma. The study found that most of the sample were women, marriage, ageing among 31-40 years old , tertiary level of education and salary among 4,001 – 8,000 baht per month. The study of the role of Buddhist monk in Wat Yangsutharam propagation of Buddhism found that the role of Buddhist monk in development of propagation methods, education support, public charity, qualification development of Buddhist monk in propagation, and propagation techniques were in moderate level. The study also found that the role of Buddhist monk in Wat Yangsutharam propagation of Buddhism were in moderate level. The results of testing 5 hypotheses could be concluded that the aforementioned roles of Buddhist monk affected Wat Yangsutharam propagation of Buddhism. The recommendations of the study are 1) Wat Yangsutharam should be monitoring the behavior of Buddhists who join Buddhism activities or listen to Dharma to acquire information of Buddhism propagation achievement and to continuously improve Buddhism propagation. Office of national Buddhism should encourage active methods of Buddhism propagation and simultaneously analyze strength and weakness of Buddhism propagation in order to enhance efficiency of active Buddhism propagation . Wat Yangsutharam should launch strategic methods to develop Dharma course, propagators, propagated dharma and propagation channels to response Buddhist’s expectation and to reach propagation accomplishment. 2) The next research should comparatively study of the role of Buddhist monks in different temples to acknowledge differences in thought, other factors affecting Buddhism propagation and results of Buddhism propagation and the next study should focus on studying key Buddhism propagators as a role model of Buddhism propagation. The next study should also conduct research about different purpose dharma activities to process the overall of active Buddhism propagation.
