Abstract:
This research aims to study the acceptance of technology for digital payments of retail stores in Bangkok. It is qualitative research, using semi-structured interview as a research tool. The interviewees included thirty salespersons and store owners. Data collection was conducted from October-November 2023, a total of two months, in Bangkok. Tha data were compiled according to the research objectives. After obtaining the complete data, the researcher did the content analysis and concluded the results. The research results found that the perceived benefits and the ease of use affect the acceptance of technology for digital payments. Technology enhances the efficiency of stores and store owners, gives more payment channels as well as enables store owners to conveniently view and check daily sales figures and past records. Moreover, the use of technology is easy not complicated. These reasons affect the stores decision to accept digital payments
